What is the Givers Gain® Gala?

The Givers Gain® Gala was launched in 2024 as the first regional, formal evening event in BNI Northeast & Eastern Ohio. More than just a party, the Gala is a celebration of the BNI philosophy—when you help others succeed, you succeed too.

Why We Created the Gala

• To spotlight nonprofit members: Many of our nonprofit members share their message weekly with 20–30 people in their chapter. At the Gala, they gain exposure to as many as 200 attendees across 63+ chapters, representing thousands of members.
• To create connections: This is the only cocktail-style event BNI hosts in our region each year. It’s a chance for members to bring spouses or significant others, network in a relaxed setting, and celebrate together.
• To live out Givers Gain®: Through raffles, auctions, and sponsorships, we raise modest funds that are divided equally among participating nonprofits. But more importantly, the Gala gives nonprofits visibility, volunteers, and new opportunities to grow their impact.

What Makes It Unique

• Attendees enjoy networking, music, and entertainment provided by BNI members.
• Games and raffles add excitement—every dollar raised goes back to the nonprofits.
• Sponsors, entertainers, and donors are recognized throughout the evening for their contributions.

What to Expect as a Nonprofit

If you are a nonprofit member, the Gala is your chance to shine. You’ll receive:

• A table to display your materials and engage guests, similar to a trade show.
• Program placement with your logo, chapter, and mission so attendees can follow up.
• Built-in visibility: attendees are encouraged to visit every nonprofit table as part of a special raffle.

The ask is simple: register by the deadline, prepare one raffle basket (suggested $50–$150 value), and bring your best ideas to inspire support. Whether you need volunteers, event registrations, board members, or donations, this is your opportunity to connect with hundreds of BNI leaders in one night.
