Givers Gain® Game Details (From the Save the Date Email)
In response to BNI member feedback, a new and improved networking event to celebrate our non-profit members and Givers Gain philosophy is here! Please save the date of Saturday, November 7th, for the first-ever BNI NEO & EO Givers Gain® Game!
BNI NEO & EO is partnering with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a one-of-a-kind networking experience:
Pre-Game:
- 5:00-6:00pm, Exclusive BNI Networking Event at the Rocket Arena (including cash bar)
- 6:15pm, Rocket Arena opens to the public
During the Game:
- The first 150 Members* who purchase their tickets will be entered into a drawing to be 1 of 35 Members* holding the American flag during the National Anthem!
- BNI’s name will be announced, and our logo will be displayed in the arena!
- 8:00pm, Cleveland Cavs vs. New York Knicks (televised)
- Choose your seats in one of three options where BNI Members will be encouraged to sit
- A portion of all of our ticket sales will be donated to the BNI Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for children around the world.
Your Ticket Purchase Includes:
- Access to the Pre-Game Networking Event
- Access to the Game (you choose your seats)
- The first 150 Members* to purchase tickets will receive a co-branded BNI and Cleveland Cavaliers hat
- All Members* who purchase tickets by October 9th will receive a custom BNI NEO & EO t-shirt including the names of all of our NEO & EO Non-Profit Members (effective 10/1) on the back! (Additional shirts will be available for purchase.)
- Hats will be available for pick-up at the networking event
- Shirts will be delivered to your Chapter in advance so that you can show up to the game either wearing your Non-Profit or BNI NEO & EO shirts!
“Traditions” from previous years' Givers Gain Events Continue:
- Just like the gala, networking with Members and their guests remains the focus while celebrating our support of our non-profit members
- This is our evening event (hotels/ride services are widely available)
- We are creating a platform to recognize and promote our Non-Profit Members
“Innovations” Made Possible Through the Game v. Gala:
- We will be recognizing and creating visibility for ALL of our 29+ Non-Profit organizations, not just a select 10 at a time
- BNI will have televised exposure to the entire community beyond our organization
- Exposure for BNI Members and Chapters in NEO and EO is exponentially increased beyond BNI
- Rather than bidding on additional items, every Member attending the game will receive a custom BNI t-shirt and the first 150 Members* to purchase tickets will also receive a co-branded BNI and Cleveland Cavs hat
- The BNI Foundation will be receiving a donation from our ticket sales, which puts our members on the map for BNI Foundation grants. Givers Gain Grants average $2,000 each and are given to non-profits and educational organizations whose projects make a meaningful and lasting impact on children and their education.
More information will be announced, including the link to purchase tickets and order t-shirts. We look forward to cheering on our BNI Non-Profits, along with the Cleveland Cavs, on Saturday, November 7th !
* Members are encouraged to bring spouse, family, employees, co-workers, etc... However, the co-branded BNI/Cavaliers hats, free Givers Gain Event t-shirts and flag holding opportunities are available to Members only. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase before the game. You are encouraged to purchase t-shirts for your whole group to expand the reach and exposure of BNI's non-profits (all listed on the back of t-shirts).

On November 7th, 2025, members and their guests joined to celebrate BNI's 40th birthday, have fun, network and recognize our participating nonprofit members for our 2nd annual Givers Gain® event, the Givers Gain® Gala. The 2025 gala theme celebrated that milestone with a tribute to the 80’s (eighties attire was heavily encouraged) and to the principle that has guided us from the very beginning: Givers Gain®.
