The 2nd Annual Givers Gain® Gala: Party Like It’s 1985!
Happy 40th birthday, BNI! Founded by Dr. Ivan Misner in 1985, BNI has spent the past 40 years growing into the world’s largest networking organization. This year’s gala theme celebrates that milestone with a tribute to the 80’s (eighties attire is heavily encouraged) and to the principle that has guided us from the very beginning: Givers Gain®.

For Givers Gain Gala Registrants:
Registration closed for the 2nd annual Givers Gain Gala on 10/31st and we are excited to enjoy a special evening of celebration. For those of you attending, here is a letter from Margie that is also in your email:
Thank you for registering for the 2nd Annual BNI NEO and EO Givers Gain Gala on November 7th, this Friday! Like last year, we are hosting the event at the Holiday Inn in Independence (6001 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131). I'm very excited to see you there! Here are some important details to add to your experience:
- You will NOT need a tangible ticket or printout to attend the Gala. We have a detailed registration list that we will use for the check-in procedure. Only your name and Chapter name will be required, and we will then check you in upon your arrival. Please be sure to collect your envelope (one envelope per couple or individual, containing your drink ticket(s), badge ribbon and basket raffle tickets) as well as your name badge and lanyard.
- Registration will begin when doors open at 6:00pm. Please arrive between 6:00-6:30pm, NOT before then, so we can continue to prepare our Non-Profit tables, wine and raffle basket displays.
- If you are bringing a raffle basket or silent auction item - THANK YOU! Please be sure to arrive between 6:00-6:15pm and make sure your basket is wrapped and ready!
(If you have requested our team print a certificate on your behalf, we need that by Wednesday morning, please!)
For baskets, please be sure it includes a simple list of contents and an approximate dollar value. Please also be sure to attach your business card so we can thank you and make sure the winner is able to connect with you! Thank you for embracing Givers Gain for this special event!
- Please consider bringing cash, check or a credit card if you would like to purchase additional drinks at the cash bar; or, if you would like to help raise funds for our featured Non-Profit Members. We will have LOTS of exciting prizes! In addition to the silent auction, the wine pull will sell "mystery" bottles of wine for $20 each (retail value between $20-$100 each!). Although you and your guest will receive 5 raffle tickets to get started, additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $3 each or 10 for $20. Full details are in the event program, including the individual Non-Profit Members whose organizations will benefit from your purchases. Thank you for your participation- all auction, raffle, and wine proceeds are split among the participating Non-Profit organizations, and your generosity makes this special event a success!
